Her research focused on the characterization of tumor infiltrating CD4+ T regulatory cells, investigating their function and also their spatial localization within tumors.
She gained extensive experience with cellular culture and maintenance, flow cytometry and microscopy, specializing in state-of-the art techniques like RNAfish and 3D-immunofluorescence stainings.
Since 2020, due to the Covid19 pandemic which hit north of Italy drastically, her research focused more on SARS-Cov2 related projects. She aimed at characterizing cells isolated from peripheral blood of infected patients and vaccinated individuals. She employed multiparametric flow cytometry to define the immunophenotypes of new cellular subsets involved in the immune response to SARS-Cov2.
In 2022 she joins T-one therapeutics where her immunological background will contribute to the development and optimization of innovative therapeutic strategies through the exploitation of antisense oligonucleotides, aiming at boosting immune response against tumors.<\/p>\n
